!Bang Syntax
WoW Instant uses a powerful !bang search syntax that allows you to quickly filter and sort results right from the search bar. There's a few examples in the sidebar to your left, but here's the full list. We're adding more all the time!

| !updated | Sort items by their most recent modification timestamp (according to our database.) |

| !leather | Only display leather armor. |
| Only display mail armor. | |
| !plate | Only display plate armor. |
| !shield | Only return shields. |
| !food | Only include food and drinks. |
| !dagger | Limit results to daggers. |
| !fist | Limit results to fist weapons. |
| !axes | Limit results to one handed axes. |
| !maces | Limit results to one handed maces. |
| !swords | Limit results to one handed swords. |
| !polearms | Limit results to polearms. |
| !staff | Limit results to staffs. |

| !xbows | Limit results to crossbows. |

| !misc | Limit results to items identified as miscellanous. (Usually just junk.) |
| !head | Only return helms. |
| !neck | Only return neck pieces. |
| !shoulder | Only return shoulder armor. |
| !shirt | Only return shirts. |
| !chest | Only return chest pieces. |
| !back | Only return cloaks. |
| !belt | Only return belts. |
| !legs | Only return leg armor. |
| !feet | Only return boots. |
| !wrist | Only return bracers. |
| !gloves | Only return gloves. |
| !finger | Only return rings. |
| !trinket | Only return trinkets. |
| !tabard | Only return tabards. |
| !ranged | Only return items that fit in your ranged slot. |
| !mainhand | Only return main hand weapons. |
| !onehand | Only return one handed weapons. |
| !twohand | Only return two handed weapons. |
| !offhand | Only return off-hand items. |
| !poor | Filter results to items of poor/trash quality. |
| !common | Filter results to items of common/white quality. |
| !uncommon | Filters results to items of uncommon/green quality. |
| !rare | Filter results to items of rare/blue quality. |
| !epic | Filter results to items of epic/purple quality. |
| !legendary | Filter results to items of legendary/orange quality. |
| !artifact | Filter results to artifacts. |
| !heirloom | Filter results to heirlooms. |
In addition to !bangs, you can also filter and sort results based on item attributes like intellect, agility, strength and so on by using the +stat command. Here's some examples:
| +int | Only return items which have Intellect, and sort from highest to least. |
| +itemlevel(359) | Just return items with a 359 item level. |
| +stamina(500+) | Filter out items below 500 stamina. |
| +mastery(200,400) | Just return items with between 200 and 400 mastery rating. |
| ‑spirit | Don't return any items with spirit on them. |
The stats you can currently use for this are: armor, dps, attackpower, spellpower, intellect, strength, agility, spirit, stamina, expertise, hit, critical, parry, dodge, block, mastery, resilience, itemlevel and developer. You can also use meta, prismatic, blue, red, yellow, cogwheel to search for gear with those gem sockets, and frost, nature, shadow, fire, arcane and holy for gear with those resistances.
